ADDY awards for “The Moment Before” and “Ensemble”featured
Two recent projects, “The Moment Before” and “Ensemble,” received American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) from the American Advertising Federation.
In addition to a Gold ADDY, “The Moment Before” received the Judges Choice Award for excellence. “Ensemble” received a Silver ADDY.
It makes me really happy that promos about higher ed can get recognized within a broad advertising field. Education should be just as appealing as cars and beer. I mean, what’s sexier than going after your dreams?
I’m also glad that the teams who worked on these projects — talented, thoughtful people — have been recognized for their great work despite the challenges of these complex projects. For example, “The Moment Before” included two overnight shoots. They were hard, and we only got through them because we all gave it our best.
A special shoutout goes to my friends and collaborators over at Springfield-based production company Locke and Stache for coming on board and believing in these high-concept projects.
